Is there anyone I can speak with about equipment options and obtaining a rental quote?



We would love to help you find the perfect equipment for your needs! Call or email us 7 days a week and we will be happy to talk about your options. We can also provide equipment recommendations and create a quote for in minutes to make sure you’re getting exactly the right gear.

 

What is process for booking a rental?



Once your specific equipment and service needs are identified, we will provide an itemized rental estimate vie email for your consideration and review.

 

How do I confirm a rental reservation?

Upon the customer’s approval of a rental estimate, All City Sound will provide an invoice, service contract and credit card authorization form. Along with the completed and signed documents, a deposit totaling 50% of the invoice balance will be due to confirm any rental with the final balance due no later than the job date or the time customer takes possession of said equipment. Any amendments to the equipment list or services will be noted and specified in updated documents provided to the customer by All City Sound.

 

What is the credit card authorization form for?

The credit card authorization form is used to cover incidentals such as damage, theft or loss of equipment while in the customer’s care. Depending on customer preference, we can also use this information for payment of the deposit or total balance but will always confirm those details before processing any payment.

We’ll inform you in advance before authorizing any funds on your card beyond the agreed rental cost. You will be notified promptly if there are any issues with damaged or missing items on return that may result in any additional charges.

 

Can I pay with something other than my credit card?

Yes. We accept all forms of payment but will still require the completed credit card authorization regardless of payment preference.

 

Will you deliver the equipment and pick it up after my event?

We offer affordable delivery and pickup services across the NYC’s 5 boroughs, Long Island, upstate New York and New Jersey.  Pricing ranges from $100-$250 round-trip depending on your location. Call us and we’re happy to provide you a quote for delivery, pickup, or both.

If you need equipment delivered or picked up outside normal business hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm, there is an additional fee associated with off-hours labor which varies based on the requested time.

 

Do you offer set-up, breakdown and on-site technical services?

All City Sound is ready to assist with any client’s technical needs including set-up of equipment, technical services during an event and breakdown of gear afterwards. Weather you are throwing a small party or large corporate event, there is no job too big or small for us to handle. Our standard labor rate is $75/hour per technician and total pricing varies based on the duration and specifics of the client’s needs. Please contact us directly if you would like to discuss and obtain an estimate for technical services.

 

Are you insured? Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for my venue?

Yes. All City Sound has a $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy and can provide a COI upon request. Check with your venue and notify us at least three (3) business days prior to the event to secure a COI as these can not be processed by our insurance agent over the weekend.

 

My company or non-profit organization is tax exempt. Can you remove New York State Sales tax from our invoice total?

Yes. Just provide a copy of your organization’s ST-119.1 form and we will be happy to waive New York State Sales Tax on your rental invoice. If paying by cash, we will also need a written document on official company letterhead detailing the total amount paid along with the invoice number, rental equipment, location and date of service.

 

Where are you located? Is there available parking?

All City sound is located at 231 Norman Avenue on the NE corner of Norman & Russel in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. There is no dedicated parking lot but street parking is often available in front of the building on Norman Avenue or on the side of the building on Russel.  If you can not find parking, just give us a call and we will come down to assist you in person.

 

Do you sell equipment?

Yes. We are authorized equipment resellers and can arrange purchases for almost any piece of equipment… often at prices lower than retail!
